May 30 Webinar in French
Next Friday, May 30, from 12 to 1 p.m. (ET), take part in the French webinar entitled Entrez dans la danse. Quand la spiritualité rassemble. (Come dance with me. When spirituality unites.)

This webinar is an opportunity to launch the French translation of Come Dance with Me, published in 2022 by Novalis. Written by Sister Eva Solomon, CSJ, this new French version, Entrez dans la danse, offers a rigorous analysis of the interculturation of Anishinaabe Roman Catholic faith. Through an exploration of the medicine wheel, “model of theological reflection out of the root metaphor of Anishinaabe culture,” Sister Eva, Sacred Pipe Carrier, invites us to discover a theological framework conducive to encounter and reconciliation.

Panelists include:
. Michael Andraos, Dean and Associate Professor, Saint Paul University Ottawa and author of the book’s preface
. Father Gérard Boudreault, Missionary from the Missionary Oblate of Mary Immaculate on Innu territory for nearly 40 years
. Rose-Anne Gosselin, Member of Timiskaming First Nation in Quebec and Regional Advisor for the First Nations Human Resources Development Commission of Quebec
Broadening “our understanding of the Gospel”
In his foreword, Archbishop Paul-André Durocher of Gatineau writes:
“Anyone interested in reconciliation between the Christian Churches and Indigenous Peoples will find avenues worth exploring in this book. I believe that all Christians who, like me, adhere to the teachings and to the person of Jesus Christ will find Sister Eva’s testimony and reflections stimulating and enriching. Dialogue will enable us to broaden our understanding of the Gospel, discover new meanings in it, and thus become better disciples and witnesses to it.”
