Pope Francis, tireless shepherd of the suffering Church, defended the poor, the persecuted, and those without a voice.
Until his last breath, he prayed for peace and religious freedom. On Easter Sunday, less than 24 hours before his passing, he urged:
“I urge the whole Church to keep the Christians of the beloved Middle East in its thoughts and prayers.”
Today, in his memory, you can offer what is most precious — the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
