SUBSISTENCE PROJECTS

BURNING THE CANDLE AT BOTH ENDS

We have made possible the repairs needed to the termite-ravaged convent walls housing 10 Carmelites in the State of Bihar (India) and whose only means of subsistence consists of two principal activities: making hosts which they then provide to four dioceses, who then distribute them within their respective parishes, and, the fabrication of candles in all forms which they eventually sell to a variety of religious associations and individuals.
